On April 13 and 14, 2012, Jiří Levíček, a former pianist with the One O'Clock Lab Band, premiered his Piano Concerto No. 1 with the State Philharmonic of Brno in the Czech Republic. He was commissioned to write this piece for them and the concerts were a part of the Czech Composers Concert Series. The 4-movement work is scored for 2 Fl, 2 Ob, 2 Clar, 2 Bassoon, 2 Horn, 2 Trp, 2 Trb, Timpani, Percussion, Strings and Solo Piano. Both concerts were recorded and broadcast by the Czech National Radio and Czech State Television.
