Faculty and graduate teaching fellows coach 10-12 small groups each semester.

Large ensembles and small groups from the Division of Jazz Studies in the UNT College of Music play in the Syndicate in the University Union on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 9 p.m. to midnight and during the noon hour on Thursdays and Fridays.

Undergraduate students that have completed Improv II (or obtained credit for it via Credit By Exam) can enroll in MUCM 3550 (undergraduate) to take the class. Some rhythm section members can enroll without having completed the class if low enrollment calls for it. Graduate students can enroll in MUCM 5550.
