The U-Tubes, Directed by Assistant Professor Nick Finzer are the premiere jazz trombone ensemble of the University of North Texas. Consisting of eight trombonists and rhythm section, they exclusively perform arrangements and original compositions by members of the group. In the past three years, the U-Tubes have been the winners of international trombone ensemble competitions hosted by the American Trombone Workshop and the International Trombone Association.
